ECBIC RECOGNITION BY WICF.

ECBIC is now the new Governing Body of the Sport....

The Chairman of the ECBIC Board, Ashley Lawrence, recieved an email from the President of the World Indoor Cricket Federation(WICF) Mr Greg Donnelly, announcing that from the 7th April 2010 the ECBIC is the only recognised governing body of 8-a-side Indoor Cricket in the UK.

Mr. Donnelly goes on to say:

"On behalf of the WICF I would like to wish the ECBIC and the ECB every success and hope that the sport in England is taken to new levels of success because of internal changes that have been made"

Ashley Lawrence issued a statement saying:

"I'm sure that everyone will agree that this is good news for the future of Indoor Cricket in this country and we will be informing everyone involved with the sport in the UK of the changes of governance of the game that has been made."
